Available now.

CONNORTONE extends its congratulations on your acquisition of a fine instrument, now equipped with HYPERCUSSION technology, new for 1962. Your CONNORTONE instrument is a precision tool. It should give you many years of service, precisely emulating a rotten and loose front porch floorboard.

Specifications

Component Description
Embossed percussion surface A 12" x 6" embossed surface, replaceable by means of four (4) brass screws and four (4) brass washers. Fully ambidextrous. The discriminating musician may place either foot and commence to thumping.
Copper-shielded pickup cavity The amplifier pickup cavity is lined with copper foil to eliminate electronic interference. We employ copper rather than aluminum, having determined that aluminum foil is not sufficient shielding against amplifiers, electric instruments, messages from the Devil, or the influence of Allen Dulles.
TONE and VOL controls Your Chowdinator is equipped with both TONE and VOLUME control knobs, rear-mounted in accordance with CONNORTONE design philosophy. They may or may not do anything useful.
¼" monophonic output A standard ¼" monophonic output jack for connection to your amplifier or recording apparatus.
Hardware Four (4) brass screws. Four (4) brass washers. Do not omit the brass washers during reinstallation.
